The Office of Katie Osborn, Incorporated is a design studio specializing in wayfinding strategy, branded environments, and strategic communications.
We address stakeholder concerns with effective solutions and design evocative information systems that assist and encourage navigation of the built environment. We approach projects with big picture thinking and focus on putting the user first. With a global approach that relies on research, best practices, and industry innovation, we help our clients turn insights into strategies for friendly, integrated and targeted wayfinding systems. Whether it’s a new design/build or an existing space, the user is our ultimate ‘client,’ and we approach all our solutions with them in mind.
On many projects, we work in collaboration to identify the challenges and opportunities of the project with various members of the project including; the client, community, stakeholders, environmental psychologists, researchers, architects, engineers, and planners. This process allows us to create the most efficient wayfinding strategies and effective information programs that support aesthetically appropriate solutions. These items may include architectural signage, maps, printed communications, websites, customer service programs, and online applications. It is our goal that these solutions enhance the efficiency of place, improve security, create better accessibility, and strengthen the relationship between organization and community.
We are a Women Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) certified business with the City and State of New York and the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey. We are also a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) in New York State and with an application pending in Pennsylvania.
